1. Equipment Returns

Eligibility: You may return equipment within 30 days of receipt. To qualify, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Process: Contact us at contact@beans.ie to initiate a return. Once approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Shipping Fees: Return shipping costs may apply and will be communicated during the return process.
2. Coffee Returns

Perishable Nature: Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns on coffee purchases.

Quality Issues: If you receive incorrect or defective coffee, contact us within 7 days of receipt at contact@beans.ie. We will assess the issue and may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Inspection: Please inspect your order upon receipt. If items are defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at contact@beans.ie with relevant details and photographs.

Resolution: We will evaluate the issue and provide a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or repair.
4. Non-Returnable Items

5. Event Tickets

Refund Eligibility: Refunds for event tickets are accepted if requested at least 24 hours before the event.

Late Requests: Refund requests made within 24 hours of the event will not be accepted.
6. Exchanges

Process: To exchange an item, initiate a return by contacting us. Once the return is accepted and the original item is received, you may place a new order for the desired item.
7. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Eligibility: If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason.

10. Coffee Freshness and Roast Dates

Roasting Schedules: Beans.ie collaborates with various independent roasters, each with unique roasting schedules and packaging methods. While we strive to deliver coffee at its peak freshness, we cannot guarantee delivery within a specific timeframe post-roast.

Freshness Window: Coffee freshness is influenced by roast level, packaging, and storage conditions. For optimal flavour, we recommend consuming coffee within 2 to 12 weeks after the roast date. This window may vary based on individual preferences and brewing methods.
11. Limitation of Liability for Product Characteristics

Subjectivity: The sensory attributes of coffee, such as taste and aroma, are inherently subjective and can be affected by factors beyond our control, including variations in roast profiles, packaging, storage conditions, and individual brewing techniques.

No Guarantee: Beans.ie does not warrant that the coffee will meet individual taste expectations. Refunds or replacements will not be provided based solely on subjective assessments of flavor or freshness unless the product is defective or does not meet the specifications outlined at the time of purchase.
