Shyira Washing Station

The Shyira Washing Station, located at 2000 MASL, is the highest in Rwanda. Cherries are sourced from nearby producers, with some grown at altitudes as high as 2400 MASL. The washed process involves pre-pulping, fermentation, and careful sorting to ensure only the best quality beans. The parchment is laid out to dry for 30 days, and regularly turned to achieve even drying.
